VIRTU FERRIES operates sailings with high-speed ferryboats from Malta to Sicily since 1988. With over than 500 connections per year, the ferry “Maria Dolores” travels from La Valletta to Pozzallo (Sicily) in approx. 90 minutes and La Valletta to Catania (Sicily) in 3 hours.

All Virtu Ferries’ ferries sail under Maltese flag, are enlisted in “Det Norske Veritas” and have all the standard certificates regarding quality and safety requested by EU.
