ENTMV (Entreprise Nationale de Transport Maritime de Voyageurs) was constituted by decree in 1987; in 1990, it reached the status of Public Business.
ENTMV owns 3 ships and rents 2 extra ferries during high season to satisfy the requests coming from all over their ticket offices system, located in both Europa and Algeria.
Algerie Ferries has, approximately, 1400 employees; approx. 900 of them are working on the vessels.

El Djazair II - 1320 pax - 300 vehicles - speed 23 knots - length 146 mt.
Tariq Ibn Ziyad - 1270 pax - 500 vehicles - speed 21 knots - length 153 mt.
Tassili II - 1320 pax - 300 vehicles - speed 23 knots - length 146 mt.

Recently put on duty, these ferries are equipped with high-quality furniture and offers a wide, high-class choice of services; last, not least, they reduced the sailing duration drastically.
